Tableau 101: first steps, first dashboard
Recently, I have discovered a great opportunity by The Information Lab in London. Applying for their Data School I couldn't wait any longer and had to finally get my hands on Tableau Public software.

One of the famous ones. That is Tableau software in dataviz field. There is plenty of training videos on the Tableau website if you want to get started. I tried my best to create this beginner dashboard.
Because I felt a bit frustrated finding an answer to how to work with London boroughs map, I decided to use Flourish for creating the map. It shows fatalities due to fires from 2000 until 2017.
The other problem that occurred was actually publishing. As you can see, the layout is not looking good as embedded here. It should look as I made it when you enter the full screen mode. Now, that's better, isn't it?
The data was taken from London open data website and it covers London fires from sixties till now. Although the trend is declining, we can see the results of the Grenfell Tower tragedy in 2017.
