102 volcanic eruptions illustrated

My newest infographic shows 102 significant volcanic eruptions of last eighteen years. You can c the Asian continent leads the numbers, but Hawaiian queen of volcanoes Kilauea certainly likes it hot.

So I have tortured myself with this piece about Hawaiian volcano Kilauea. It took me quite some time already and not much is to show, trust me. However, it gave me some inspiration at the end. 

When I looked into the dataset, it surprised me how many people has died recently due to volcanic eruptions. I decided to add illustrated infographic as a background for the whole thing about Hawaii (called "How to make an Island", stay tuned).

As you can c, I ended up making a whole independent graphic and having a lot of fun actually.

Now back to Hawaii torture!
